Short / Long Blocks
Marine Engines & Industrial Engines
A new short or long block for your power plant is a very cost effective solution to ensure minimal downtime for your business and saving cost on expensive modifications for installing a different engine model.
A new short or long block is the core heart of an engine and by replacing all essential and critical running components you end up with almost a new engine.
Our blocks are assembled with the utmost attention to detail and as such we have created our own "Assembly Inspection Report" in which all details during this process are fully documented. We establish all critical clearances by performing full dimension checks as well as surface hardnesses on various components.
Long blocks designed for a higher HPp rating are fitted with fully assembled cylinder heads with inlet- and exhaust valves made from Nimonic 80™* (Superalloy). Due to the far superior material used compared to the standard inlet- and exhaust valve, this product will result in enhanced reliability and increased Time-Between-Overhauls (TBO).
If you would like to find out more about our short and long blocks please contact us an we can give a more detailed information on the overall process.
